As there is no ‘O’ levels this week, there will be training on Friday which will consist of store cleaning. Reminder to all those who volunteered to help out for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving to report to school by 7AM in Full Scout Uniform. This Friday’s training excludes those who are attending the OBA dinner, in which they will report straight to Mr Kwang

Appended herewith is Panther patrol’s reflection for their Project Scubilion:
“For our patrol’s Scubilion, we helped out at and attended the Akela award ceremony at Yangzheng primary school. Although it sounded underwhelming at first, we realized soon after that the people we were dealing with were both parents and kids and had to accommodate to both. We assisted with ushering the parents and VIPs of the ceremony to their seats and helped with the registration of the cub scouts before they entered their award venue. It was surprisingly frustrating, since we had to act calm and do our jobs well, especially in front of the juniors. Most of the parents and awardees had many questions which we ourselves barely knew the answers to. However, the pressure and the work paid off when we saw the cub scouts go on stage during the award ceremony. The even just made us realise that when we go out of our way to serve other, we can get surprisingly satisfactory return though the experience of the event we went through as a patrol.”

training to complete whatever components you may not yet have achieved or missed.
For the Secondary 3s you will be doing store cleaning and pack up.

This Friday’s training has been moved to Saturday (22 October 2016). Do take note of this as there will be NO training this Friday. This Saturday’s training is only required for Secondary 1 and 2s as they will be having component training. Hence, Secondary 3 scouts are not required to be down. The schedule for this Saturday’s training will be uploaded by tomorrow night.
