Dear Scouts,
Below are the images and reflection done by Stingray Patrol on their Project Scubilion 2018:
“We found this year’s Project Scubilion to be a very meaningful and enjoyable activity. For our Project Scubilion, we went to Ren Ci Nursing Home to help facilitate activities for the elderly people there. We helped them to do activities such as making musical instruments and helped them learn things like music and a bit of English. We managed to learn a lot from our interactions with the elderly. We found the elderly there to be very inspiring as even though they were all old and some immobile and unhealthy, they all managed to constantly stay cheerful and happy, and tried their best to participate in the activities as much as possible. We felt very satisfied after every session after seeing the elderly people’s smiles and gratefulness for our help, and they even asked when we were coming back again. We hope to be able to return to this place next year to help the elderly there again.”
Yours in scouting,
Marcus
