Dear Scouts,
Attached below is the reflection done by Seahorse patrol for their project scubilion:
This Scubillion was indeed a very enriching experience. Our patrol, Seahorse, went to a daycare centre, also known as Carehut, in Commonwealth’s New Town Primary School. We were tasked to look after primary school children by engaging in activities with them like PT. We also helped them with some of their homework and marked their assessment books. What this really taught us was to be humble and patient. When we were primary school children ourselves, we didn’t know how hard we were to handle. Now, after experiencing how it feels like to be in the shoes of our teachers in primary school who had to handle our childish antics, we feel more indebted and respect our teachers a lot more.
Yours In Scouting,
Darren Wee
